InvesTex is a Safe and Sound financial institution. Your savings are insured up to $250,000 per account number by American Share Insurance (ASI). Each account is separately insured up to $250,000 (Savings, Checking, Money Market, IRA, and each CD). The InvesTex Credit Union field of membership includes most of the people living and/or working in the geographic region of the Lone Star College System as well as the school districts in that region. This includes people who work or live within a 10 mile radius of our locations. Membership is also available to employees of retail merchants that are members of the Retail Merchants Association of Houston, Inc., including Retail Merchants Association Members’ lease department employees and excluding those already in the field of membership of an existing credit union are eligible.
