As noted above, we are adjusting our hours of operation until further notice as part of our efforts to keep staff safe by reducing time working together in the office. We continue to deliver the best service possible to our members and our community. Since February 24 th we have implemented and continue to adapt our Pandemic Policy to the needs of staff, members and community given the changing environment around us. Please utilize our many free 24/7 remote access technologies available from the convenience of your home.

These are challenging times as we all face a new global threat, but WE ARE HERE, WE ARE OPEN, AND WE WILL ANSWER WHEN YOU CALL!

InvesTex Credit Union is closely monitoring ongoing developments regarding the coronavirus as well as overall impact to the economy.  Our top priority is to help keep our employees and members safe and well informed while continuing to deliver the best service possible.  We are taking necessary precautions and are following the established guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, CDC, Federal, State and local authorities.

We process a huge volume of credit union services/transactions with members remotely and have done so for years.  Members can conduct almost every transaction with the credit union using free remote access technology/processes already in place.  New accounts for both current and potential members, loan applications and closings, wires, transactions of almost every kind can all be done remotely.   There are some exceptions… For example: home equity loan applications can be processed remotely, but the actual closing must be (by law) done in person.  We encourage you to sign up for On-line banking, mobile banking and our 24/7 automated phone system, and eStatements.  Call us at 281-449-0109, 866-449-0109 (toll free), or email us at and let us set you up!

Given the current and growing concerns regarding the coronavirus (covid-19), we are expanding our remote member services and reducing our face to face services in an effort to do our part to keep staff and members as safe as possible.

EFECTIVE THURSDAY MARCH 19, 2020 and until further notice, InvesTex Credit Union lobbies WILL NOT be available to non-employee, non-critical traffic.

  • Hours of operation will remain unchanged.
  • Drive -Thru services will remain open for all transactions during regular business hours.
  • We are frequently cleaning the drive-thru canisters, ATMs, and other equipment that involve high touch activity.
  • Remote access through Phone calls with representatives during regular business hours remain fully operational.
  • All services through the credit union eBranch (call center) are available.
  • The 24/7 Automated (Free) Phone system remains available.
  • Free On-line Banking, Mobile Banking, Bill Pay remain available 24/7.
  • Debit and Credit Card services remain available 24/7.
  • ATMs remain 24/7 operational.
  • New and Existing loan approvals will be closed/finalized remotely.
  • Home Equity applications will be processed remotely, however closing the home equity loan must be in person and by appointment.

Though these services are typically thought of as a convenience, in the current environment and in the days ahead they are prudent measures for both members and staff.  Without leaving your home you can transfer funds between your accounts, conduct wire transfers, check balances, verify cleared checks and direct deposits, make a loan payment, pay your billsdeposit checks, open new accounts, apply for and process loans, and more.

We encourage you to follow the CDC’s recommended guidelines:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • Stop handshaking and maintain social distancing (at least 6 feet of separation).
  • Avoid touching your face and cover coughs and sneezes.
  • Disinfect surfaces like doorknobs, tables and desks regularly.
  • Stay home if you’re feeling sick (except to get medical care) or have a sick family member in your home.
  • Always carry tissues or paper towels and handi-wipes in your vehicle and use them while at the gas pump to touch the pump buttons and gas handle.
  • Avoid traveling.

Any updates to branch operations will be communicated on our website at which also includes various important links to agencies such as the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and WHO (World Health Organization).  The health and safety of our staff and members is our highest priority, and we appreciate your understanding as we work together in the best interest of our community.
