PARTNERSHIP WITH STARTRUST EXPANDS LOCATIONS & SERVICES

We are excited to announce InvesTex Credit Union and
StarTrust Federal Credit Union have agreed to merge.
The post-merger combined organization will be InvesTex
Credit Union and will expand the number of branches to
six (6) locations.
This is a merger of two friendly organizations to combine resources and enhance service.
The strength of both credit unions combined into one allows for efficient use of resources, great
services for members, and other competitive advantages in the Houston market. Basically, more
benefits for the combined membership driven by post-merger competitive strength.
We've been working for several months on the merger with StarTrust. The Board of Directors of
both credit unions approved the merger along with the StarTrust members and our regulators. As
InvesTex is the surviving entity, a vote by the InvesTex membership was waived by the Texas
Credit Union commissioner. The Financial Merger will be June 30, 2013 and then it will take a few
months to finalize the Data Merge when StarTrust member accounts are converted to our system.
Effective July 1, 2013, you (InvesTex members) will have access to another InvesTex branch
location and expanded product opportunities. The new branch is located downtown at One Allen
Center, 500 Dallas St., Suite P-110, Houston, TX 77002.
The merger will create a credit union with six (6) branch locations, more than $170 million in
assets, and over 27,000 members. We will provide more details as we proceed.
