 The Lil' Roper program is designed for our members 0-13 years of age. Lil' Roper accounts teach the value of saving money. Below are great educational websites for you and your child(ren) to visit. Open a Lil’ Roper Account with as little as $5.00. Each time a Lil’ Roper member makes a deposit at the credit union, he/she will receive one Lil’ Roper Buck for each dollar deposited up to $25.00. Lil’ Roper Bucks can be used to purchase toys from our General Store catalog.

Be sure you and your child visit www.KIDS.gov. This is a FREE website hosted by the US government. It links over 1,200 great web pages from government agencies, schools, and educational organizations, all geared to the learning level and interests. The site is organized into three audiences: Grades K-5, Grades 6-8, and Educators. Each audience tab is divided into educational subjects like Arts, Math, and History. There is also a section regarding “Money” in each learning level. There also is a section for educators to help with developing a curriculum for each learning level including financial education.
